Keep models, warranties, manuals and service records
A local inventory for serial numbers, filter schedules and matching appliances against official Government of Canada recalls.
Use this tool well
Record equipment with a brand, model, serial number, warranty or recurring service. The recall engine first filters home-related products and classifies matches as exact, probable or partial. A match is never official confirmation.
- Copy the complete model from the nameplate.
- Keep the serial number without publishing it.
- Open the official notice and verify affected ranges.
After the results: keep assumptions, verify official sources and document any decision that changes cost, schedule or safety.

Turn the result into a useful record
Record the date, scope, measurements and price source. Then link the result to the project file, calendar, photos and decision register. An isolated value ages quickly; a dated, connected value remains verifiable.
Before signing, purchasing or closing a wall, confirm requirements for the exact product, local authority and required professionals.
Better targeted recall search
The model is normalized without spaces or hyphens. Serial or lot values are considered only when clearly present in the notice.
