Stop and obtain help
Asbestos, significant mould, gas, unstable structure, open electrical panel, unknown wiring, active leak, damaged foundation or uncontrolled work at height.
Generator
Never feed a house through a wall outlet. Use directly connected appliances or approved transfer equipment installed by a qualified person.
Before demolition
- Locate services.
- Test suspect materials.
- Plan dust, ventilation, protection and disposal.
Masks and respirators
An N95 protects against certain particles, not vapours. Facial hair in the seal area, the wrong size or an incorrect cartridge can defeat protection.
